WHO ARE WE?

OK Motorsports is the University of British Columbia Okanagan’s Formula SAE team. Established in 2013, we develop IC and EV race cars. We are developing our first EV race car for the 2025 competition. Our team consists of more than 100 active student members from a wide range of disciplines at the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus.

WHAT DO WE DO?

Design.

We design a formula-style race car to the technical regulations laid out each year by Formula SAE’s 130+ page competition rule book.

Build.

Then we build the car! This provides hands-on learning for all of our team members through manufacturing, assembly, and testing procedures.

Compete.

We showcase our work, both technical and managerial, by competing at international Formula SAE competitions against other universities from across the continent and around the world.
